The UBIK Preset Service delivers user-preset mapping to connected clients (Android, Windows, Web, etc.). The client requests general settings as well as the settings for a specific user (or user group), based on this the web service delivers a set of presets to chose from.
It is comfortable (or due to security reasons even necessary) for UBIK users using a UBIK client not having to enter configuration settings by themselves but to have predefined settings to chose from. These settings should be administrated in a centralized way and provided by this web service.
The Web Service URL must/can be configured on the mobile client.
