The {{UBIK }} Preset Service delivers user-preset mapping mappings to connected clients ([[UBIK_Client_Basics|Android]], Windows, Web, etc.). The client requests general settings as well as the settings for a specific user (or user group), based on this and the web service delivers user can chose from a set of presets to chose fromthe web service delivers.
It is comfortable (or due Due to convenience or even security reasons even necessary) for UBIK users using a UBIK client should not having be able to enter any configuration settings by themselves but ont the client, instead they are bound to have a set of predefined settings to chose from. These settings should can be administrated in a centralized way centrally and are provided by this web service. The Web Service web service URL must/can be configured on the mobile client.
