Assign an Icon to a MetaClass

An Icon can be added to a MetaClass to offer easier understanding in Ubik Studio as well as on the Ubik Client.

1. Navigate to the MetaClass DISPLAYDATACUSTOMCLASS in the Class Browser
   
2. Create a new instance using the Bulk Editor
   
3. It is required to assign an icon of the DisplaydataCustomClass attribute either by
   • selecting the desired icon from the dialog appearing after double-clicking the cell
4. It is recommended to set at least name and description
5. Save the changes with Ctrl+S or the save command

The object needs to be added to the list of scopes object of the according Application:

• Individual objects can be added directly to the Scopes relation in the ACM using the Relation Editor.
