To run or extend the Comos {{COMOS}} – {{UBIK}} – Interface => CUI you must do make some settings on the {{ComosCOMOS}} side or at least get some data for configuration from {{ComosCOMOS}}.Because {{ComosCOMOS}} is not a Product from Augmensys, please request all {{ComosCOMOS}} changes or adaptions adaptations at your local Siemens or Siemens Partner.

The interfacing of data depends on 3 Partsthree parts

* the possible representation of data from {{ComosCOMOS}}* the transfer mediamechanisms, like *.xml file or REST API InterfaceINTERFACE

To hand over the primary needed information from {{ComosCOMOS}} to {{UBIK}} there are only *.xml files to use, cause because the {{ComosCOMOS}} side is writing a the data to a fixed *.xml scheme witch {{UBIK}} is able to read in.This is called Metadata transfer, and hands over transfers data about CDevices, Attributes, StandardTables, PhysicalUnits, and DocumentTypes form from Comos to a .xml file.When {{UBIK}} SmartStudio is importing imports this, it will generate ComosMetaProxy's with Traget target MetaClasse's, ComosMetaProxyProperty's with Target target MetaProperty's, SelectiveLists and SelectiveItems, SIUnits and UnitItems, and some ComosDocumentTypeProxy's.For detailed information's about the {{UBIK}} Metaclasses  MetaClass please see

For connection between Comos® {{COMOS}} and UBIK® {{UBIK}} via REST API please make sure that Comos-WEB COMOS Web is installed and the License license called “COMOS_Mobile_Worker_Server” is available on Comos®{{COMOS}}.

Comos-WEB COMOS Web will need The the Web services: ComosEvents, ComosGatewayServices and the ComosWebStartPage.

In the Comos® {{COMOS}} project settings in the section: "Mobile Solutions" you have to care about ensure that the URL to you your ComosWebStartPage (including port) is set configured and also that the Comos-COMOS Web database key is setalso configured.

NOTE: on One Domain within one domain the database key has to must be Uniqueunique!

Also in the project settings in the section: "COMOS Mobile Worker Interface" you will find the setting settings and the values for the active "Comos Project" and if the "Workinglayer" key is empty the released area is connected if not one Workinglayer per project can be connected to UBIK®.
