Changes
The {{UBIK}} version number is composed of
* a '''Major''' (first) and '''Minor''' number (second),
* a '''VersionRevision''' number (third),* and a '''RevisionBuild''' (forth) number.
''Major'' and ''Minor'' numbers correlate to strategic and technical milestones and will be retained for a certain period.
A new (increased) ''VersionRevision'' number indicates new features, whereas the ''RevisionBuild'' number relates to hot- and bugfixes within a certain ''VersionRevision''. Therefore, these last two numbers will change more frequently.
For example, the {{UBIK}} Version 2.4.4.1, having
* Major = 2
* Minor = 4
* Version Revision= 4* Revision Build = 1
implements additional features if compared to 2.4.3.1. This can be seen from the different ''VersionRevision'' number (4 > 3).
The version 2.4.4.3 has the same features (''VersionRevision'' = 4) but includes certain hot- and bugfixes, which can be seen from the different ''RevisionBuild'' number (3 > 1).
