In {{UBIK}}, an instance or a content object is an actual object created by means of a certain [[MetaClass]]. So an instance will inherit everything its MetaClass had defined (e.g. [[MetaProperty|Metaproperties]], but it will live on its own and hold distinctive values for all its properties.
