In {{UBIK}}, an instance or a content object is an actual object created by means of a certain [[MetaclassMetaClass]]. So an instance will inherit everything its MetaClass had defined (e.g. [[MetapropertyMetaProperty|Metaproperties]], but it will live on its own and hold distinctive values for all its properties.
