A new (increased) ''Version'' number indicates new features, whereas the ''Revision'' number relates to hot- and bugfixes within a certain ''Version''. Therefore, these last two numbers will change more frequently.
For example, the {{UBIK}} Version 2.4.4.1, having
* Major = 2
* Minor = 4
* Revision = 1
implements additional features if compared to 2.4.3.1 - which . This can be seen from the different Version number (4 > 3).
The version 2.4.4.3 has the same features but includes certain hot- and bugfixes, which can be seen from the different Revision number (3 > 1).
