Updates for UBIK® Server
New features
- Language-Integrated Query (LINQ) is supported for UBIK customizing now.
- Logging of changed property values is supported by the kernel now. This will give the possibility to monitor all changes that were made on a single property.
Performance improvements
- Improved performance for Offline Mode Preparation. Optimized data processing in the serialization mechanism leads to a massive reduction of processing time.
Bugfixes
- Compiling of customizing: interfaces are not assembled two times to the same MetaClass any more.
- Encrypted property values do work with not released Metaclasses now as well.
- Workflow Designer GetXPathResult: XPath Evaluation now processed in background, which improves the usability when using large input files.
- The Context Menu in the relation editor does not show a delete button any more.
- UBIK.Studio Interface Manager: Command files are now created with a hidden password in the database credentials.
- UBIK.Server Webservice: Avoid loading a wrong customizing if a an older and unused UI customizing exists in the service's customizing deploying directory.
- A problem with handling of complex passwords is fixed now. We recommend to reset all configured password after an update.
Updates for UBIK® Android Client
New features
- A complex Positioning System has been integrated (Indoor & Outdoor).
- The Metaio SDK (used for AR features) was upgraded to Version 5.2.
- A Geo Teach-In (geo property editor with automatic mode) is now available.
- A new Document Type "Linked Documents" is supported.
- Dialogs and Buttons where unified adapted to the new UI style.
Performance improvements
- The loading speed of the Content List was enhanced.
Bugfixes
- Duplicate Content List Entries do not appear anymore.
- Billboards are not blurry anymore.
- Returning to the AR view after opening a POI in the Content Browser is now possible.
- Geo-Positions obtained earlier are now remembered even when the positioning mode changes.
- Returning to the AR Navigation after opening the ID Marker Activity is now possible.
- The target object of the AR navigation can now be viewed in the Map Activity (accessible from the AR navigation Activity).
Known Issues
- Compass is inaccurate on some devices.
- The AR Navigation crashes when returning from the QR-Code scanner.
- Login is not possible if there is a WIFI connection but no internet access.Version
